Directions:
40-Gallon Terrarium:
Consult a pet-care guide for the appropriate size and number of pets. Do not overcrowd terrarium. Rinse decor in warm water before placing in terrarium.
100-Watt Golden Light Basking Spot:
Gently fasten the spot into a UL or ETL approved incandescent fixture. Do not plug the light fixture into an electrical socket until the heater is fastened firmly to the fixture. Place the light fixture outside the habitat. Never place the light fixture inside the habitat, as hot glass can harm your pet.
8.5-inch Dome Lamp:
For use above screen-top reptile habitats. Make sure the lamp is placed on the screen top or suspended over the enclosure with the appropriate hanging device or fastener. Do not use bulbs or spots that exceed 150 watts. Never place the light fixture inside the habitat, as hot dome or spot can harm your pet.
Thermometer/Hygrometer Combos:
Clean a small area on the inside of the habitat wall where you would like to measure the temperature and humidity level. Be sure to choose a location that is easily visible. Peel the protective backing off the adhesive pad and press the thermometer and hygrometer combo firmly onto the clean, dry habitat wall.
Large Soaking Dish:
Clean the bowl weekly or as needed. Always provide your pet with plenty of clean, fresh water.
Under Tank Heat Mat:
Clean the surface of the terrarium. Peel adhesive paper off the heater and gently rub it against the side or bottom of your terrarium to adhere it properly. Reptile tank heaters should be placed at one end of habitat where it will cover approximately 25% of the habitat bottom to create temperature gradient. Heaters should be mounted on side of terrarium if using with a hermit crab or other species requiring thick substrate. Under-tank mounting with a thick substrate could cause the mat to overheat.
Coconut Fiber Substrate:
Place coconut fiber substrate brick bedding into a large container. Add 4 quarts (3.7 L) per brick of water and let it sit for 20-30 minutes until the bedding completely crumbles apart. Wring out the excess water and place the bedding in the habitat to achieve desired thickness (minimum 2 inches). A 2-3-inch depth is recommended for large pets. Use a substrate sifter to scoop waste daily. If waste material is allowed to collect on the surface, your pet can develop skin and intestinal infections. A clean environment will help you protect the health of your pet.

Clean the dish weekly or as needed. Always provide your pet with plenty of clean, fresh water.

Spot will get hot while in use. Spot emits ultraviolet radiation.
8.5-inch Dome Lamp:
This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electrical shock, the plug will only fit in a polarized outlet one way. Never use with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. DO NOT alter the plug. Disregarding cautions could cause damage, fire, or fatal shock. Dome and spot will get hot when in use, please make sure dome and spot are turned off and cooled down before moving.

This is an electrical product. Read all directions and instructions before operating. Failure to follow all directions and instructions properly may lead to electrical shock or fire, which could cause bodily injury.
Caution:
40-Gallon Terrarium:
Never try to move a full or partially full terrarium. Never lift a terrarium with wet hands. Never use soap or detergent on any items placed in your terrarium, as they are highly toxic to pets.

Under Tank Heat Mat:
Read all instructions before you use the heat mat. To protect against electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse cords, plugs or heater itself in water or any other liquid. Close supervision is necessarywhen using heater near children. ALWAYS unplug from electrical outlet when heater is not in use. DO NOT operate your heat mat if cord or plug has been damaged in any way. DO NOT use mat for anything other than intended use. DO NOT use pins or other metallic objects to fasten the mat of the heater in place. DO NOT place on tanks with cracked or broken surfaces.
